Getting started

Each language should have a number of contributors, proofreaders, translators, distributors and supporters who form a network. Since some of the members of this network will not meet in person, it is important to use this site as a link between members of a language network. There is no formal membership, but it is advisable to identify some(one) who can proofread new contributions, and someone who can print and organize distribution of printed materials. It is often the case that some people, typically the older ones, are experts in their language but not exactly experts in computers and typing. You might want to bring together "local language experts" and people who are (fairly) good at typing and using a computer/Internet.

If you want to assume responsibility for any of these tasks you may email the project coordinator who can put your name/contact information on your language page so that people in your language network can contact you directly. Otherwise the coordinator will act as a mediator between you and other members of the network.
